Sacred Grounds was established in September of 2010. We started out years ago, home roasting for ourselves, because we were looking for the perfect cup of coffee. We started with a small air roaster, producing only a quarter of a pound at a time. The more we shared our coffee with our friends, the more they asked if we could roast some for them too. Because there is nothing like freshly roasted coffee, the word spread. We soon found ourselves spending all weekend roasting for friends, and we knew it was time to “go legit”. We now roast on a professional Diedrich “shop” roaster in small batches, so we can not only supply our current friends, but new ones as well. We encourage you to try one of our single origin coffees, or blends, and experience Forge for yourself. We hope you will become a friend.
We started Sacred Grounds because we want you to experience coffee how it should be experienced... freshly roasted, and obsessed over from farm to cup. We are passionate about our craft. We carefully source our coffee to make sure it's not only amazing in flavor, but also responsibly produced. We are dedicated to staying relatively small and local, so we can concentrate on the quality and craft of the coffee we offer.
